Refund & Return Policy

Thank you for shopping with THE WRITE SPOT. We aim to provide high-quality stationery and gifting products. This Refund & Return Policy explains how returns, replacements, and refunds are handled for orders placed on https://thewritespot.in.

1. Eligibility for Return or Replacement

We accept returns or replacements only in the following cases:

  • Wrong product received
  • Damaged product delivered
  • Manufacturing defect
  • Missing items in the order
Return requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.
2. Items Not Eligible for Return

The following items cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Customised or personalised products
  • Used or opened products
  • Products without original packaging
  • Items damaged due to misuse or mishandling by the customer
  • Discounted, clearance, or sale items (unless damaged or defective)
3. Return Request Process
To request a return or replacement:
  • Email us at info@thewritespot.in or call 8427111446 within 48 hours.
  • Provide your order number and a description of the issue.
  • Share clear photos/videos of the product, packaging, and shipping label.
Our team will review your request and respond within 1–2 working days.
4. Return Pickup & Inspection

4.1 After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation email/SMS, which is an acknowledgment but not final acceptance.

4.2 We reserve the right to cancel orders due to:

  • If your return request is approved, a return pickup will be arranged (wherever serviceable).
  • Products must be returned unused and in original packaging.
  • After receiving the returned item, our team will inspect it before processing a replacement or refund.
5. Refund Process
Refunds are issued only after return inspection is complete and approved. Refunds will be processed to:
  • The original payment method (UPI, card, wallet, etc.), or
  • In some cases, store credit may be offered as an alternative.

Refund processing time: 5–7 working days after approval.

6. Replacement Policy
If the item is in stock, a replacement will be shipped after return approval. If the item is out of stock, you may choose:
  • A refund
  • A different product of equal value
  • Store credit
7. Order Cancellation
  • Orders can be cancelled only before they are shipped.
  • Once an order is dispatched, cancellation is not possible.
Refund for a cancelled order (if prepaid) will be processed within 3–5 working days.
8. Damaged or Tampered Packages

If a package appears tampered or damaged at delivery:

  • Please refuse to accept it and notify us immediately.
  • If already accepted, report the issue within 48 hours with photos/videos.
9. Non-Serviceable Return Pickup Areas
If your location is not eligible for courier pickup, you may need to self-ship the product to our return address (shared during approval). Shipping charges for valid return cases will be reimbursed.
